After a 5-6 year drought I actually came across some 6mm Remington brass made by Winchester, at Cabella's. I was delighted to actually find the 6mmRemington but was somewhat hesitant because there have been some less than stellar reviews on Winchester brass posted on this site in the past few months. One poster complained about having to cull 8-10% of the brass, it was a different caliber, due to defects and deformities in the brass.
I just finished priming the brass after running it through the resizing die and I've got to say I'm delighted with the quality of the product. Not one dent or deformity, the primer pockets are clean and properly sized, every piece passed the scrutiny test. I don't know if Winchester made some major retooling changes or purchased new machinery but something's changed and it's for the better. Lastly, I actually got 51 pieces in both of the 50 count bags. Thank you Winchester!
