Winchester 52-B trigger

Anyone know how to adjust a 1938 W-52-B trigger? After shooting 2oz trigger this 16oz trigger is throwing my bullets all over the bulls eye. please help, nilebartram

You are fortunate that it is down to 16 oz. This trigger design will not go down into the lighter ounces. You will need something like the Canjar set trigger or a Kenyon to accomplish that, and they are scarce and expensive.

Agree with SBS . The 52 c , d were improved with the MICRO MOTION trigger .
If your 52b is original I would sell it and buy a 52 c or d . Any modifications on an original 52 usually destroys its collector value .

I thought I was lucky to get it down to 16oz's. just thought I could do something with the sear and levers. Thanks, nilebartram

Just wanted to let people know, I got the trigger down to 8.4 oz's and the bolt does not slam fire. Was 3lbs, then I got it to 15oz's, now 8.40z's. It can be done. nilebartram
