Winchester 1885 220 swift shooting poorly

Adjusted the "Zero Stop " its on the money at 100 yds. Shooting 55gr Speer TNT ,some one on FB posted his accurate loads out of his 220 swift. Those loads out of my new rifle shot poorly ,in fact so does factory ammo and all my loads. Now its been dang hot here in Wild Nevada . Maybe I'm seating bullets out to far? So far powders have been W-W760 and Re#16 . The forearm on my rifle isn't free floated. This is first time I've ever shot a falling block rifle, seems to take some getting use to. Thinking of buying some 50 gr Nosler BT bullets . )-:

Several powders will work well in the Swift, but if you can’t get the 50 or 55 grain ballistic tips shooting good with IMR 4064 then the rifle or scope is the problem. Around 38.0 +- grains should be the sweet spot. Start around 37 and work up.

I have had several 220 swifts. most shot best with 39-39.5 IMR 4064 and didn't matter if it was Ruger #1 or Remington 700. Work up to that carefully.

If I remember correctly, my last Swift loved 36.0 or maybe 36.5 grains of IMR 4064 topped with a Sierra 53 grain MK.

It's a falling block rifle 1885,just finished free floating forearm and trigger is at a gunsmiths shot that specializes in these type of rifles.
