Win Mag 300 Muzzle Brake

Adding a Min Mag 300 to may 6.5 Creedmore for something different. I am concerned about the extra recoil. Can you please give me your recommendation on your preferred muzzle brake? I have had good experience with the APA Little Bastard so I was automatically thinking of going with the Fat Bastard. Thoughts appreciated.

You may also take into consideration a t2 or t3 terminator brake depending on the weight of your set up.

Added later; terminator has self timing as well

I will be using a MPA Chassis with a 26" barrel, so relativity heavy. I will be using for Long Distance Shooting out to a mile (not a hunter).

Using Badger thruster on my 300 WM Sendero, and on my 300 WM long range custom.
No complaints, but I've shot the cartridge for decades without one. I can spend all day behind either rifle, shooting full house loads pushing 215 gr Berger EH. Recoil experience is entirely personal, what's acceptable for one person may still be too much for another.
Recoil feels about like a 308 to me.

I have an APA Fat Bastard Gen 2 on one of my 338 LM.
If you are recoil sensitive, I'd say this brake plus weight of your rifle (if it's 15 pounds+) will make it feel about like a 243 or 308. Just an unscientific guess.

another high vote for the Muzzle Brakes and More Beast brake. Have a 5 port on my 338RUM and a 4port self timing on my competition rifle. they're excellent and far lower cost than the other name brand brakes.

Many moons ago I used to send my barrels to Magna Port for porting. Never had any issues with recoil out of my 300 Win Mag. Don't know if they are still in business or not. Thing I liked about them is they don't add anything to the barrel.

I have the howitzer brake on my 300 win mag, fun to shoot hardly no recoil looks like a howtzer

+1 for Muzzle Brakes and More Beast Brakes. I have a Beast on my 30-28 Nosler and it is amazing at taming the recoil.
