SELLING Win m70 338-06 with Hart Barrel

The bare rifle without scope weighs 8.5 lbs? What contour barrel is it wearing?
Thanks for calling this out. That was an error in the original description which I’ve now corrected. The rifle weighs 8.1 lbs. I’m not sure of the barrel contour, possibly light sporter.

Thanks for the interest.

Ok, I just lowered the price on the rifle to $850 and added some additional accessory options to go with the purchase including .338 bullets. Who's wants to buy this rifle?

I cant believe it's still here. I already have an Ackley version or it would have been mine back in June. The market is kinda rough right now. If you want to split it up, I might be interested in the Weatherby brass. Good luck.

Thanks for the interest! I’ve had interest expressed in the brass, but I’ll hold it until the rifle sells. If the rifle purchaser passes on the brass/dies/bullets, I’ll sell them separately.

And I’m surprised it hasn’t sold as well.

I'm a 3 decade-plus 35 Whelen fan but this caliber intrigues me to the point where I'm interested. Currently I have a custom M70 classic SS with custom SS .35 barrel and a M70 classic SS in .3006 that I had JES bore out to .35 caliber a few years ago. I have a question or two for you if you don't mind. What is the trigger pull set at? I live in Southeast Alaska and given our brown bear population I don't care for a long trigger pull so my finger doesn't touch the trigger until I'm ready to draw blood. Also, is there a reputable Cerakote application shop in or near your location? I wouldn't really appreciate destroying a blued lower receiver up here given our weather.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like this rifle is up your alley.

The trigger breaks at 2.5 lbs.

On a Cerakote shop, I’m aware of some in my area (Portland, OR region) but I don’t have personal experience with them. Others here may be able to speak to that.

I appreciate your interest!
