Win 52 value

So a local guy has this for sale win 52 what's it worth thanks.

Pretty well worn, altered stock, plus drilled for scope mounts. I’d want a good look at the bore but IMO $400 give or take a fifty.

A or Pre A, no sights, triggers were greatly improved years later. Very avg C to C-..... How bad do you want a plinker?

IMO, the Winchester 52 is still king of accuracy, but if you want a good one, get a 52C (repeater) or 52D. Plan on spending $1500 or more for a decent quality one.

agree this is in the 4-500 range. buy a newer version with the much improved trigger if you want the "tack driver". If you want a plinker, offer 4
