I have a Wilson FL die, and a Jones arbor press that is heavy enough to size a case with it. There is no advantage to FL sizing that way, and it is more trouble. The most common use of Wilson dies is their seater. Any sizing is more easily accomplished on a threaded press, unless one is using loads that are so light that their neck die is the appropriate method. If one is using loads that require FL sizing, as I believe most do, a closely fitted threaded FL die is the best way to go. Alternating neck sizing with the use of a badly fitting FL die just means that you will have less accurate ammunition part of the time. Also, not all cases, within a given set will become tight at once, and if tight and loose are shot together, they will not group as well. As far as using hammers on Wilson FL dies goes, the instructions specifically advise against it, recommending instead a vise, or heavy duty arbor press. This is not to say that hammers have not been successfully used, just that they recommended that it not be done.
