Wilson Carbide cutter for meplat trimming or Whidden meplat trimmer

Read on here in an article that Wilson carbide cutter is better for meplat trimming than Whidden meplat trimmer. Anyone have an similar experiences or info would be helpful.

Another option is the montour meplat trimmer Seems well made. I just got mine Haven't used it much yet but it definitely works.

I was wandering are there any pointing tools other than the Whidden and hoover?

Great article...makes good points. Interesting info. I did look at the Montour trimmer and it seems the biggest drawback is its inability to produce the same length bullet. Holding the bullet by thumb pressure seems inconsistent. Looks very well constructed though. Thanks for the input.
