Will accuracy suffer if muzzle is cut in belled area ??

Here's the deal, I got a new 33" x1 1/4" 7mm barrel blank. The Bore was stamped 2772, so I put a 2770 pilot bushing on a cleaning rod and checked to see if it would fit all the way thru the bore. From the breech end it went in about a foot then stopped. So far, no problem. From the muzzle end it went in approx. 3+" then stopped.( A 2768 bushing goes all the way thru the barrel). Im thinking the standard cut 1" -1.5" rule off the muzzle is not my best option here, due to the larger bore in that area. Cutting 3+" off the bore is best for the crown. What do you think about the crown being in a section that has possibly a tenth larger bore?? Pat

Check the dia where the bushing will ride while chambering. Not going all the way thru could be because of the bends and quality of the barrel which is now in question

The barrel is from a quality maker, and its not uncommon for a barrel bore to be tight by a tenth over its length. I doubt the barrel is bent and causing the bushing not to go thru, the bushing is only 3/8" long that would be quite a bend. Back to the original question... Would accuracy suffer if I cut the barrel at a point that is larger by, say a .0001". Or should I cut it at the smallest diameter (which would be 3" from the now muzzle.?? I realize that is not much of difference in dia but I think the crown should be placed where the bore is at its tightest.
