Will a 65 gr sierra gameking 'pop' on a groundhog out of a 22 250?

I love shooting m .22-250, since I purchased my first one back in the 1960's. The distance of 300 yds seems just right for the Sierra 65 grain bullet.

The sierra # 1455 55gr Blitzking works well in a 22-250, running at 3700 fps. I used to shoot smaller bullets, but went to the 55gr to carry the killing power farther downrange. Have taken dogs at 700 yards but could not find the carcass, farthest that I could find the dog was 588 yards with this bullet. I made the Varmint Hunters Assn 500 yard club with this load.

The Nosler 69CC, an Sierra 69's and Hornady Match 68's all pop and destroy from my 22-250's
I have a 12 twist and 9 twist. Use a hot load of Varget or CFE223. Anyone who has shot in a PD town knows the wind blows strong. These are great in those conditions.
