will 8 1/2 work for 140 hybreds

"Maybe". Punch your mv & other info in here to check for stability.

Maybe. I have 1-8.4" Obermeyer, 1-8.5" Brux, and a 1-8.5" Bartlien that will all stabilize them to 600. I have no idea about further than that. Clean holes in paper with no evidence of understabilization (is that a word?).

The Bartlien is a 6.5×47 and prefers the 130 VLD, but will shoot the 140 Hybrid well, the other 2 are 6.5Creedmoor's and love the 140 Hybrid.

YMMV........

I would buy a 100 or find a buddy to get a few from to try. I don't get caught up into the Internet buzz about what won't stabilize. A lot of people will say a twist is required but is it truly? I have not found it to be the case all the time. Give it a try in your barrel and find out. I bet you will be fine.

Thanks all I got the barrel chambered and bedded the stock I first shot the 130 they shot very well ,I then loaded up 5 140 Hybreds jump 15 35 grains varget WOW .065 Yes 140 work in 8 1/2
