Wife killed a toad deer hunting this morning.

I posted my ML hunt and pic and told you guys about my wife hunting and helping me be able to hunt. She has hunted pretty hard this year. Saw only a unicorn spike and turkeys yesterday and I told her with the temps bottoming out today, it would be a great day here in KY. Our rifle season opened yesterday, and she was in the blind by 6:40 this morning. She just set down, got her rifle in her tripod and was fixing to get some coffee out of her thermos when she spotted a big bodied deer coming out of a draw to her feeder/ scent wick set up 100 yds away. She could not see horns with her naked eye and thought that is awful big to be a doe. She got on her rifle, a .270 Savage 110 with a brake, and could see tall tines thru the scope, never looked at them again, just concentrated on getting the shop. He smelled of the scent wick, the turned broadside to tank up on the corn, and she settled the crosshair up against the crease of his shoulder and pulled the trigger. Boom, Whop, dropped right there! He was a big mass, high frame 8pt the best she has killed in 8 years. She looked at her watch, 6;50 she had been in the blind 10 minutes. The funny thing was she did the same thing, last year on the second day of rifle season, I watcher her get in the blind at 6:50 and at 7am sharp she shot and killed a buck. By 11 we had him skinned, boned out and on ice. I will trim him up tomorrow and grind up everything except the back straps and the tenderloins. Thought I would share with you guys, I can send pics if someone wants to post them.
