Wife grants permission!

After 3 hours of cutting grass in 90% humidity I got the "nod" to go out chucking tonight. Back to the "Honey Hole" as the Farmer wants them annihilated! Not so sure that can be done but I will give it the old "College Try"! This Boar stood up at 160 yards and the .20-.223AI with the 39 grain Sierra BlitzKing made short work of him with a Snert shot!

Storm clouds were rolling in so I put some equipment back in the truck and grabbed my T/C Contender with a 20" barrel chambered in .17 Ackley Hornet for my cleanup/photo walk. This Boar didn't seem to mind that I was only 66 yards away and that was a mistake!

I beat the storm and these two take me to 37 for the season!

Lucky for you! After I finished the grass, my wife gave me the nod to mulch Her flower beds! I did get my bandsaw fixed, after dinner.😀 Havn't shot a gun since gardening season started.

But the Dr says there is a 50/50 chance by the weekend I will be bedridden or out hunting. ???

Hope to sight in the 6BR with 105's tomorrow or Thursday for a hunt that starts at shootable dirt, 650 yards.

Hope it's out hunting my friend! Back pain sucks! No problems here with that however my shoulders are another story! Left is only degraded however the right is severely degraded! Doc said heavy flat benches, and of course having every conceivable shoulder injury while playing Men's Club Rugby, did them in! Replacement is in the future...

Nice job on the deck! Mine is in a lull cause a year and a half ago, I finally added that new living room and 1st floor bedroom suite she was after. Then, just as I was almost done, I fell off a ladder and spent 9 months in a wheel chair. Now that I'm getting back in shape, she's starting to get "warmed up" again. Wants me to build that furniture I promised her.

Sorry to hear about your accident. I went through a serious work accident 5 years ago. Those type injuries take a lot out of a man. Keep the wife happy and keep on burning powder!
