Long Range Training Class
June 14th.
9:00 am. to 2:00 pm.
Would you like to be able to accurately shoot at almost any distance?
This class was made to assist hunters and sports persons in the transition from short range shooting to long range shooting. You will learn how to range and acquire targets at almost any distance. You will learn about mill dot and minute of angle systems, exterior ballistics, ranging distance, and reading the wind. In addition, you will display what you have learned while shooting targets from 25 to 200 yards. This application of the classroom training gives an easy and fun way to apply what you learned in class.
What you will need…
Study Materials:
1. Pad of paper or notebook
2. Calculator
3. Pencil & Pen
At the Range.
1. A rifle you can comfortably shoot 50 rounds with a scope suitable for 200 yards,
that is sighted in at 100 yards
2. 50 rounds of the same ammo
3. Rest, bipod, and/or bags you intend to use
4. Ear & eye protection
Participants successfully completing this class will receive a card verifying they are qualified to shoot our 600 yard range. With this card you can participate in matches and weekly events at our club. See our website at www.CSA12.com for a list of matches and events.
