Why ???

Any one have a idea why Pay Pal will not accept my Cabela's club card for my yearly GOLD membership ????
Sent a check to Jeff to solve it..

Paypal usually accepts any card- even amex. You may want to call capital one or whoever handles it this month.

I have used my Cabela's card to handle PayPal transactions for years with no issues. I think Dusty is right, contact Capital One.

Same here. Even though the CS at Capital One sucks rocks compared to the older World's Foremost Bank issued Cabela's card, they will answer with a human after climbing their horrendously tall phone tree.

I just canceled that card and cut it in half and threw it away-done

I had a card I’d linked to PP, used it infrequently ‘cause I’m careful about accessing credit in general.

Had reason to ask company for new card # (bought a saw blade on Amazon, seller was supposed to be in KY; checked account history after not receiving confirmation, found charge for identical
amount to company in Malaysia, for clothing).

New card came, I activated it. Tried to re-link new one on PP, failed every time I tried, over several days, until I gave up.

Card company said no idea why, PP won’t give me a straight answer.

Over the years, I've found Pay Pal performance to be smooth a few times and erratic lots of other times. I avoid them when I can. JMO.

Just called Capitol One and they said they can see no reason Pay Pal won't take the card...

That was LAST YEAR. You need to use it at least "once a week" to keep it from getting moldy. (and keep the economy moving)

What is a Cabelas credit card in the first place?
Are they some kind of a bank now

Mine is a capital one card that gives you cabelas points like other rewards cards

I was using mine to pay all my bills and rack up points. Now have a Black Cabela's card. Problem is I have run out of things that they sell that I want. They want way too much for many of their guns.

Exactly my experience. Actually once I got on this forum and started reloading I completely lost interest in most of the places that I used to shop. It’s just parts and components now.

I signed in as a guest, and as mentioned, I used it before for the GOLD.....
