why not a bulls bag for front rest?

hey guys, just wondering why no one uses a bull bag for F class shooting. i have shot some of my best groups using one. i figure maybe because they are not as easy to adjust for elevation.

When using a front bench type rest, like those sold by Sinclair, Hart, etc. the torqueing/twisting that occurs while the rifle is recoiling, and the bullet is still in the barrel, can be somewhat controlled by the ears on the front bag, when used in F-Class Open. A bi-pod, as sold by Sinclair or even the Harris type will also control that problem when used in F-TR. You also have no way of adjusting for uneven terrain, or making elevation changes for that matter. Harris bi-pods, for example have notched legs with height adjustments.

The same reason why no one uses a bow and arrow for F-Class! ;D

Joking aside, you answered your own question, when conditions are good, we shoot quick, and don't have time to be adjusting elevation by pushing on a heavy bag. That's the reason most of the top F-Class shooters use a joystick rest of some type. Faster and more accurate shots.

yea , ill try that on the wife lol. luckily she shoots to so whatever makes her shoot better is usually no problem. ;)
