lol, not sure why you guys keep asking to not be banned or kicked off the forum... AFAIK, no one has made any threats. I surely respect your views and opinions and right to express them as I would hope anyone would. As long as it doesn't get personal, (and the Forum Boss is happy), you can state whatever you like.

That figures, I better keep my ultra conservative mouth shut before I get kicked off the forum. Good thread Jon I'll be watching.

WTF? I hadn't seen that he excluded first responders, police and firefighters as well. Hey, let's not invite the people that actually risked their lives?!... it's ridiculous that he is allowed to exclude anyone at all.

Wow. We've got our own problems here in WA, but I'm thinking I'm glad I don't live under Bloomberg's iron fisted rule.

The police and firefighters and first responders were not formally invited as well as the Christians. Welcome to socialism or should I say cowardism.

Really, we are afraid of offending someone that demands we provide for them or make concessitions for their religious beliefs. As a result, we can't profess what we personally believe. In a free and just state we should be able to practice what we morally and legally believe is just and fair. We should not have to comprimise on our values to protect other conflicting values. This was one of the founding principles of our constitution. Have we forgotten? I am just a middle class working guy with 3 young kids, I would like them to grow up not being afraid of saying or doing what is in their hearts.

Mayor Bloomberg is a perfect example of the type that does not want to see our kids enjoy the same things we did. It is offensive to "some" of the population.

Pleae don't kick me off for opining my personel beliefs, but I hope others believe as I, and are tired of being quiet. Say it like it is.

Bloomburg is an abolitionist,he wants to rewrite the constitution for total control of his subjects. He is jewish and wants all guns and hunting done away with. I guess he never heard of jews for the preservation of the second amendment. He is not an idiot,everything he does is well thought out and I would be surprised if he ran for president. He is in love with power and drunk with it like diane feinstein and nancy pelosi,who incidently flys to california almost every evening via the taxpayers. She is one of the empty skirts in washington who is also drunk with power. And we thought good old teddy kennedy was a pain.

We need to remember that this country was founded on Christian principles.
We also need to remember that our Constitution guarantees freedom OF religion, not freedom from religion. Think about it...... Huge difference.
We also must never forget 9/11 or we may be doomed for a repeat.
Just my humble thoughts.

Yep.Our Founding Fathers had a lot better grasp on reality than most of our current politicians do. Research our historical documents & the writings of our Founding Fathers & it should be very clear that our Great Nation was founded on Christian principles. How do you think "In GOD we trust" got on our money?

looks like the phrase "in god we trust" was added in the 1860s to the coins and 1950s to the bills, so i find it hard to believe that the founding fathers had anything to do with that
