And why is it called a double U, when it is a double Vee? WWhy is it called “taking” a piss when you are actually leaving it in the toilet?
So many philosophical questions that are incomprehensible by the human mind…

My handwritten double U’s look like double U’s and not double V’s ???And why is it called a double U, when it is a double Vee? W
His website says they’ve been fully tested. I just want to see the test results and testimonials on long range accuracy.I'd say most major discoveries are accidental whilst conducting practical experiments. That's where I would start. Make some new designs and shoot them, no arguing with the results. Theory is a great starting point but nothing beats real world testing![]()
Shoot a few and prove it.I think they eventually will. Or maybe I just hope they will. About 50% of rifle bullet drag is due to the base flow problems. About 120 years of study has gone into the nose design but I'm the first knucklehead to attack the base flow with math.
Less drag means a flatter trajectory (less drop) and less wind error. IT also extends the effective range of the weapon. I estimate that I could extend the effective range of the M4 out to over 500m with a aerospike tail.
Not yet. My radar only can track out to about 100 yards. I've been focused on getting them stable and fully characterizing the drag curve. I'm hoping to catch the interest of a few competitive shooters to try them out form me.Yeah good point on states with lead restrictions. Do you have any targets from testing any of your bullets at long range?
I agree. I've shot a bunch. I'd like some of y'all to shoot them and give me some feedback.Shoot a few and prove it.
Working on it. If you know someone to recommend I'd appreciate it.His website says they’ve been fully tested. I just want to see the test results and testimonials on long range accuracy.
Sorry, not sure what tuner is. Use of wind flags to estimate wind error is pretty common though. Cross range wind error is normally calculated by the lag rule. You calculate the time of flight and subtract it from the time of flight at the same range for a vacuum trajectory. The difference between the two is called the lag time. The lag time times the cross range wind velocity give the cross range deflection.@HappyHellfire did you use tuner and wind flags in your testing ?
If you didn't your bullets will never shoot !!
is that just for hunting? or complete ban on lead for everything? I dont know of any states that have banned shotguns or .22 LR yet??You are right about comparing copper and lead core. I hope to buy the swaging machines in two years and start with them but until then the solid copper are just so much easier to get out of the gate with. There is also several states that require lead free bullets that I might be able to fill the gap until then.
what would those identify as? what pronouns would they use?
Hellfire,I’m sure you are the first guy to study the boat tail shape….seems like a logical assumption. I’m sure Berger and Sierra never once thought about the boat tail shape and never performed any CFD on their proposed bullet shapes. Your posts are awesome, please keep them coming, this is exactly what I need in my life right now.
Dave
send me a free box of 50 of the 6.5mm pills and I would be glad to shoot them against a similar competition bullet (although 102gr is a little light for a 6.5CM competition bullet, 140gr ELD-M pills would be more appropriate).
I can’t believe you are trying to sell a new bullet design and your website doesn’t have a single shred of comparative testing showing actual results on target. Do you just expect everyone to take your word for it??
Dave
Michigan has banned lead for duck hunting but I know many people that refuse to convert.is that just for hunting? or complete ban on lead for everything? I dont know of any states that have banned shotguns or .22 LR yet??
Send me a PM and I’ll give you my address to test some for you. I continue to ask.Not yet. My radar only can track out to about 100 yards. I'll find another shooter. Thanks for the offer.Hellfire,
I’m shocked you are not taking people up their offer to do a comparator be shoot off between your bullets and the closest high quality offering from Berger, Sierra, Hornady or custom makers like Bart’s. It’s going to be a super tough sell for you peddling your bullets that are more than 2X the price of the best bullets on the market today, with little to no actual proof of concept and comparison targets. My offer still stands Hellfire, and I’m awaiting your response.

The 30 cal is so light I’m having trouble seeing how it can have a high BC for long rang competition shooting. Tho I’m assuming that’s geared more toward the 300 BLK so that wasn’t the intention with the design. In that case, maybe you send those bullets to the black rifle plinkers to test and see what they come up with. Not yet. My radar only can track out to about 100 yards. Sorry. From the perspective of a competitive shooter, my reaction is 'WTF?'.Cross range wind error is normally calculated by the lag rule. You calculate the time of flight and subtract it from the time of flight at the same range for a vacuum trajectory. The difference between the two is called the lag time. The lag time times the cross range wind velocity give the cross range deflection.

Hard to believe he knows nothing about tuners with as much education as he claims in the bullet/shooting field.Sorry, not sure what tuner is.
