Why I hunt prairie dogs

Now that sh*t is funny I don't care who you are. We leave for SD in the morning, hope it hasn't floated away. As of last night we can't get into camp due to flooding. Hope the water goes down by the time we get in,
Randy

If the PD's obtain protection they will start invading our city parks, play grounds, front yards, school yards, base ball diamonds, and outdoor concert venues. Waiting for it to dry up a bit to avoid Montana gumbo.

I know that I drove in deeper water than that in Nebraska a few years ago. We were shooting prairie dogs 3 days after 14-16 inches of snow with the first day that we shot was in snow banks and the mounds were clear. The dogs wanted to be out and the shooting was awesome. My FIL and I went through 3000 rounds in 3 and a 1/2 days. The rancher begged us to stay but we were done, not for the lack of ammo as we still had a couple thousand rounds left, but because we were tired. The rancher did tell us where to cross and told us that the water would be deep and to give him a call if we got stuck.

BTW, my wife told me that it isn't hunting, but rather shooting. I just refer to it as live target practice to my hunting friends.
