Why did I not buy this rifle?

When Dr. Marsh decided to build actions, he got Gary Ocock to assemble one with a modified Bruno stock and a Krieger 13.5 twist barrel. At the time I was writing for Precision Shooting Magazine and he sent it to me for testing. From the start, it was one of the most accurate rifles in 6 PPC that I have shot. Below is pictured three consecutive 3-shot groups shot with 3 different N133 powder charges and Berger 64.2 gr Column bullets.

This is a repeat of a post I made about a year ago, but I wanted to show that we must strike while the iron is hot. This action is no longer made and some say that it was just a shortened Panda. The Panda was and is the icon of accurate rifles and not a bad one to copy. Thanks to Mr. George Kelbly and family for giving us the Panda for some 50+ years.

I have 1 Marsh action. I really like it but don't use it much. Boy that baby shoots. I have 7100 of those column 64.2 grain bullets for sale on this site. They have really gotten expensive over the years like all Berger Bullets. I would of kicked myself in the ass if I let that one that you tested get away from me James.

You're just a silly goose, James!! My Remington 90-T broke on the first trap of a registered shoot years ago. I go in to the club house and picked an old Bt-99 from the for sale rack. It looked like it was used to plant sweet corn! I proceed to break 75 straight with this beat up old thing to finish with a 99. No, I didn't bring it home...

That action reminds of the Kelbly’s Stolle Panda. My girlfriend shoots one and everything but the bolt knob reminds of the Panda.

I had a good shooting BAT with barrels for both the Dasher and PPC. The Marsh action had a dedicated PPC bolt face so I sent it back to Dr. Marsh.
