Why are factory savage rifles accurate?

To help provide some insight into the differences in three chassis, here are pictures of the three different chassis.
The 10 FCP-K with Oryx was just been fitted with the Oryx chassis taken off the 6.5mm CM Shilen. The 10 FCP-K had an Accu-stock and had a bottom bolt release. It needed the old Oryx with a slot to activate the bottom bolt release.
The 12 FV .223 with the MDT LSS chassis has about the same top structure as the Oryx but the bottom area is more ornate and is about 1/2 lb. lighter.
The 12 FV 6.5mm CM with the MDT ACC chassis is the latest chassis and has a detachable rear portion and a vertical detachable hand grip rather than the permanent slanted grips on the Oryx and LSS chassis.
The cheek rest on the ACC chassis is also moveable, vertically like on the Oryx and LSS, but also horizontally as well. That is a useful feature.
All three have the full set of rear spacers. I have long arms and tend to creep up on the scope due to recoil without them.
The MDT ACC chassis is about 1/2 lb. heavier than the Oryx chassis and about 1 lb. heavier than the MDT LSS chassis.
super helpful!
