Whole hog rifle

I finally went whole hog on a rifle build that took most of 6 months to finish and it still needs some tweaking but it seems to want to shoot. The first two touched each other at a 100 yards and then the rain started, I was shooting one and then cleaning it before shooting again. Hardly any sign of copper fouling, and it cleans up quick with out a brush, so I don't imagine the break in will take very long..I only plan on using it for groundhogs but it should be competitive if I ever take the plunge to do any LR shooting.

Now that's a big beauty. I bet it only moves an inch or less on recoil. Did you ad weight in the rear? I'd think it would be nose-heavy with that big, full-contour bbl up front.

Like I said it will be used for more groundhog control than anything else until I get up the nerve to try the BR stuff.
It is nose heavy and I'm working on a balancing act now, I'm trying to get it to weigh the same front to back on a set of scales when it's on the rests.
I might have to put a set of training wheels on it to move it around by the time I'm finished....
It barely moves more than a inch when it's fired, and I blame a lot of that on it being so darn slippery from all that urethane I sprayed on it......
I'm planning on shooting it again today, and will post results of the fire forming break in.
This barrel cleans up quicker than any other barrel I've used, or it's the RL-15 I'm using, but 6-8 patches has it as clean as it can get, and I've yet to get any blue color on a patch using Butches Bore Shine and bounty paper towels for patches as always..
