Chino
You summed it up about gunsmiths. What most smiths I know like the least with a customer are the ones that call up every week sometimes more often and the smith hasn't even received the stock, barrel, action, or trigger.
Then their is the matter of the delivery date and last but not least the customer who has shopped around and wants to barter about the previously agreed on price for parts and work.
You make too much trouble for the smith and you'll be looking for another one next time you need work done. Remember shooting and gunsmith's are a a small world, the word gets around maybe on you, not you Chino the hypothetical you.
