Who threads barrels for muzzle breaks with descent turnaround time

Just trying to see if anyone knows a particular gunsmith who threads barrels for muzzle breaks that isnt to loaded up at the moment. Thank for any replies and/or advice.

Beat me to it...a second on bostromgunsmithing. Eric is located between Sarasota and Myakka City, Fl.

It takes about an hour to dial in the bbl concentric to the centerline axis of the bore and turn the threads. It takes significantly longer to make it into the lathe. Those of us that do quality work and are known for it are in high demand and the jobs pile up. Anybody that can do it in a day or 2 is either putting you in front of someone else or has very little work. No offense meant to anyone so please don't take any.

Careful being in a hurry if you're looking for a precision job. Correct way to do it involves setup just like to chamber and then thread, install brake, and bore to .020 over. Those who just throw it in a Chuck and thread it charge one price. Those who do it tight charge another. For this job avoid the low bidder.

I hope he is still not looking, its been 5 years lol

It would be difficult for a 1 or 2 man shop to offer 2 day turn around, but when I worked in a larger machine shop we had a designated "hot job guy" he would have work assigned, but if an engineer came into the shop with a rush job this guy would stop and do that job right then..I have 3 lathes in my one man shop just so I can do a rush job for customers during hunting season.that way I can stop go to another lathe a set for a muzzle brake installation.
