I have used Pacific Tool and Gauge for quite a time but things have changed out there. I used to deal directly with Mr Kiff but that doesn't happen anymore. The prices have gone up and the wait times have also gone way up ( now still waiting at three months ). I think I will look elsewhere next time.

Contact Dave Manson at Manson Reamers, He will answer all your questions and make what you want. Great guy to deal with. He made me a custom reamer which was spot on.

Clymer and JGS get my vote.

I've used a few of the main stream reamer companies reamers. They are about the same IM0. Customer service is great and performance seems equal. Hugh Henriksen reamers are ones I've never tried. I've been advised by gunsmiths that his are the very best. My only issue at the time I needed a reamer is that didn't want to wait 8-12 months for my reamer. Personally I cant believe the difference can be that big to make me want to wait. JGS and PT&G get my vote. For what it's worth.

Never got a bad one from PT&G and Dave's always answered my questions.

As with top of the line rifle actions and barrels, one is as good as another. The choice is personal. If your gunsmith recommends brand X over Y or Z, listen to your gunsmith. Personally, I prefer JGS and Manson.
