Who makes modified cases now?

Is Small Caliber News still in business?
Sadly no, he retired the shop.

Sorry should have been more specific . Hornady modified.
I need one for 20 TAC.
Thanks
Your size die can be used as a holding tool. If you have a drill press, the job is trivial and easy to run with a drill and tap. If you are used to work like this, a hand drill and vise are enough, along with the drill and tap.

Making one from a case fired in your chamber (and not resized) will give you a better product. If you buy the tap and drill bit, you can make them for any other cartridges as well. If nothing else - it saves time waiting to get something.

I'm confused and that ain't hard. I didn't read that he was wanting to drill and tap a case for old "whatever" tool. Still looking for the OP to clarify what he wants.

Single point it in your lathe. That tool uses a weird thread. Dont think a tap was readily available.
The tap is nothing special. On Amazon you can get the drill and the tap with no fuss.

Not everyone is used to drilling and tapping threads. Some of us have literally drilled and tapped things by hand and by automation in the millions, so we forget what that is like for someone who has never done it.

A quick Google Search shows that this isn't a rare topic.
