Who can cut down a MDT steel AICS magazine

From that pic it looks like a staggered feed mag like standard AICS and not a single stack like the AICS long action mags. Will be interesting to see what they say. I also sent them a message asking what mag is used with that DBM.

The APA XM uses MDT XM mags. The Inflection is/was a stagger feed and the same outside dimensions as the MDT.

Surgeon used to make a medium action but it took standard short action bottom metal. Two friends had them. It was just able to accept longer rounds and the AICS 6.5 PRC mags can load to 2.955”. I will wait to see what bottom metal he is running.
The Surgeon action was/is a short action with a different bottom cut out.

I knew they got them from Preston to make a 300WSM and they told me they were different in oal of rounds so they must have just opened up the ramp area.

No, they cut the rear of the port like a Wyatt cut. They still make them.

The Defiance XM is about .250 longer. It will handle cartridges to about 3.200" long.
