About a .22 rimfire ammunition manufacturer that will ship 2000 rounds right from the factory directly to the purchaser? With FREE shipping yet!
The BIG Brown truck dude dropped off a small but quite heavy box this morning with my latest order from CCI Ammunition.com.

I now have more CCI ammunition to test, especially the "alleged" target version of the Mini-Mags, if only to see that they fit into the category of Target rounds. I have a hunch that the "Varmint" rounds are only a lower velocity version of the Vellocitors, but I guess I'll soon find out.

I ordered 10 boxes of the Minimag "Target" and 10 of SV last week from CCI and just received notice that they are to be delivered on Friday. I'm just guessing, but think it likely that the only difference between Minimag Target and Varmint is the bullet; with target being 40 gr. solid round nose & varmint 36 gr. hollow point. They're not always available, so if you want some & they're out of stock try again later. I found them available on my 3rd try.

I just finished up spending 6-hours on my range out back testing the above .22 rimfire ammunition out of 3 fairly descent rifles, along with some SK Rifle Match. It was a very interesting and fun endeavor, to see how this ammunition groups from the three rifles that I used. As soon as I get "Jethro" to help me to 'cypher' all the targeted results and then some info concerning my test rifles used, I'll post all that up with some very interesting pictures. Should be able to get that done tomorrow.

You do realize that "Jethro" can only "cypher" up to 10x10 and his "gosintas" are a little weak. So ES and SD #'s may have to wait until Ms Jane is available.

It's good to see some of the manufacturers sell directly to the public. About three months ago I bought powder directly from Hodgdon. Yes it was more expensive than pre pandemic prices but way cheaper than the scalpers and my LGS shelves were bare.

Max Bear Jr said that every day he went to the set of the Hillbillys he could see his career hopes of being an actor slip further and further away. But how do you have an acting job and quit when you want to be an actor?

Those are actually "State Imposed Restrictions", and has nothing to do with CCI, same with no shipments to Illinois. If it were me..............I'd vote different.
This is incorrect. I emailed CCI and they don't want to keep my foid on record. They claim they have no method of doing that. I have ordered ammo from other companies and had it shipped to my door step.

I wouldn't buy anything from that outfit after they did that sort of thing.
I recall buying one of their memberships a long time ago (back when ammo could be shipped to California by anyone). I finally ordered some ammo from them and they said no shipping to California. I've not bought anything from them since - freaking clowns.

Awww! I feel so bad for some of those 'distributors", especially Sportsman's Warehouse who was charging $100.00 for a brick of 500 Mini-Mags not too long ago, same for a brick of "Thunderbolts" during the last shortage of .22 rimfire a while back.
I wouldn't buy anything from that outfit after they did that sort of thing.
some of their distributors are more reputable. For a manufacturer to undercut distributors is a very bad precedent.

Oh I agree. IF, they are actually "undercutting" their distributors, that would be wrong. But, are they really doing that? Can that be actually proven? I can't say what distributor prices are, only legitimate "dealer prices" but if anyone knows what distributors pay, they MUST be a distributor..........right?
