You dont buy out something like this to do sloppy work. You just spent a lot of money and you know you have to prove yourself. Im not scared to buy more.

I’ve known Shawn for a while now and I must admit I was a bit disappointed when he told me, but I understand. He has a small shop with 3 guys and they work tirelessly to do what they do. Everything I own has a HH barrel and Shawn did the chambers. Not one disappointment! Shawn told me he is going to set the new owner up and train them on his process so fingers crossed!

I think he just wants more time with his family and he has definitely earned it! He is, without question, one of the nicest, down to earth guys I know! I wish him the best in his new chapter!

Well my local smith installed a Hawk Hill 223 barrel ordered about 2 months back--just got it to the range and on 3rd trip I am gaining on a good load with 85.5 Bergers--It all looks great to me. Just a little more tuning on seating depth and I should be ready

Disappointing but we can hope the new owner will continue the great service and products. I have four blanks sitting at old Dominion, been using quite a few Hawk Hills and kind of quit trying others for the last year or so. Hopefully the new owner takes advantage of Shawn’s willingness to teach and guide, I’m sure it’s not a skill developed overnight but that sounds like the plan.
