According to the White House "fact sheet," Biden is calling on Congress to “go further” than two background check bills already passed by the House of Representatives.

Among Key Points:
The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”

The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle.

The Justice Department, within 60 days, will publish model “red flag” legislation for states.

The President will nominate gun control advocate David Chipman (a past ATF officer) to serve as Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms.

Tomorrow we will find out the first of many gun control acts that the Biden-Kamala administration will try to stuff down the throats of all gun owners.

Looks like they will start up around the edges, just to see the response, then continue with more severe attacks.

For now, the biggie seems to be the Red Flag laws. Gun owners will be at the mercy of family, friends, neighbors that have a grudge. Tuff times ahead if Scotus sets on their hands, in reply to the expected lawsuits.

Funny, nothing about putting people who commit crimes with a firearm in jail. Nothing about keeping people arrested for felony's in jail. Nothing about mental illness. Nothing about shutting down drug gangs. Nothing about criminals crossing the border. Nothing about disaffected kids being trained by first person shooter games. Nothing about the rampant narcissism on social media that leaves those ostracized wanting to shoot everyone. Seems the left is in favor of letting those people roam the streets in search of victims. How can you save people who are not victims? Something to consider.

To me one of the most concerning things is the appointment of the Giffords anti-gun lobbying group's Senior Policy Advisor as the Director of the BATF. This is a huge conflict of interest and should not be allowed.

There is already a "rush" on in several states to protect the Second Amendment under the State's Constitution. Tuesday, in Arizona, our Governor just signed such an action into law. The Biden Admin. will undoubtedly hasten other states to enact such laws. One outstanding example is what Governor DeSantis did in Florida.

One thing that has been casually mentioned multiple times is banning import of guns and ammo. If that comes to pass and eventually extends to components (which it will) like virtually all Powder, Lapua products and things like that, will the so called "shooters" and "gun guys" on this board that voted for the Democommunist Party rethink their choice?

When it comes to components, I think we as consumers have already taken care of that by the continuous hoarding of these items. That snowball just keeps rolling down the hill collecting size. You can maintain easier marketing control over items that are literally non-existent as opposed to product that flourishes in availability. Until the consumer ends the rampage of sucking up everything in sight, far beyond their requirements, we are just helping this along at a progressive rate.
