I’m envious! Are they commercially available there?Just got the first couple of thousand
Walt, my POC at D&M said they tested the pistol primers against CCI’s when they started making them. Glad to hear they are working just fine.An update on testing. The past few weeks, a couple of friends and I have tested both the small and large WRE rifle primers. We could tell no difference between them and the primers from other makers that we have been using.
It's the first batch that have arrived. I hope it becomes a common occourance. We have seen part packets of primers being offered on local auction sites for the past few months.I’m envious! Are they commercially available there?
I received a response to my e-mail from them. It states that ALL production for 2024 is going to current manufacturers and NEW manufacturers. This was for small rifle and large rifle primers.
What it means is, they caught up with orders and are releasing to the public now. What it means is that as soon as it opened someone came in and bought an entire years production of primers.
Anyone care to do that math?
I use BR2 primers with 94gr of Rl33 and 175gr. Tested in -5°f. No problems.Just bought a brick. For 104$ might as well. Gonna try them in a variety of things…308, 7-08, 257 rob, maybe my reduced loaded 458 win mag, and maybe my 28 nosler with lighter bullets and h1000. Not sure how i feel about that one tho. Also have a 22-243 i might want to play with
Nice! I have used cci magnums and 215M’s but running low on both. I got a good load with retumbo and 180 bergers for the 28 nos maybe i’ll whip up 3 to see how it looks on chrono and paperI use BR2 primers with 94gr of Rl33 and 175gr. Tested in -5°f. No problems.
