Indeed. If you are bored and have the time, read their posts. The attitude you are referring to is in almost every post. It kind of makes you wonder what type of life experiences the posters have. They surely can't be around many other people on a day to day basis. I suspect they are teenager's, young adult's, or possibly work in a cubicle and hate life. You'll also note they tend to want the last word and cannot let anything go. Well, life has a way of taking care of bad attitudes in the end without any outside help.I have noticed a couple of new guys on here who are always bashing someone. What is the deal with this!! I'm sure Lee is a competent gunsmith. He is just chambering a new Barrel for an AR, he's not performing brain surgery. What are you doing accepting work on a gun that by your own words, you "know very little about"?
Gunsmiths who take work when they don't know the gun or the sport is what's wrong with your trade.
Have some integrity. Give the weapon back to the owner, and tell him you don't know enough about his rifle to charge him to work on it. It will be good for you, it will be good for us, and it will be good for your trade.
Stop being part of the problem, and being the punchline in bad jokes about gunsmiths.
And for god's sake, going on the internet and asking Skeeter, Booger and Bubba how to do the work or what parts are the best is not the way to find information about gunsmithing!
Now that's a blast from the pastStool, is that you Stool? Stool?
I used to chide Lee about changing equipment as much as I change sox. I have no idea how good Lee's gunsmith skills are. But what I do know Lee is a competitor with a few seasons under his belt competing against some of the finest SR BR shooters in the country. This tells me he does have a clue on what the end game is when it comes to Benchrest accuracy. I just hope he doesn't veer his interests into the darkside with them tacticool guns.

I am needing a premium AR varmint type barrel for a customers rifle that I have here in my shop.
Me knowing very little about AR type rifles and what most people want or like. I am looking at the White oak line of varmint barrels. I guess my question is? Are these White Oak barrels the same quality as say a Krieger or even a shilen? My client will be shooting in a few local type matches so accuracy is the first priority. thanks Lee
