Whidden reloading dies

I was having problems with a redding type s bushing die not sizing the base of the case enough on a 7mm RSAUM . I gave John 3 pieces of brass at Perry a few days after Perry he called me and we discussed the sizing problem he made the dies and now fired brass goes in like butter .Good job John keep up the good work. And this custom die was just a few bucks more then some of other manufacters dies off the shelf ! This is my second whidden die it is the way I will go from here on out.

I like his dies as well, I just wish they would bore the bushing pocket deeper like Harrell's so more of the neck gets sized. The way mine came they dint size much neck.

I'm a big fan of Whidden dies. I have a set in 308 Win and in 6.5 Creedmoor. Both full length bushing dies work well and the seater dies are top notch.

Another plug for Whidden here.

Emailed a question and got a reply from Carrie a few minutes later. Item were shipped an hour later.

Two days later I got a partial refund for over charge on shipping.
They charged a standard $12 and actual shipping was $7.65, refunded the difference.

I recently bought a Whidden FL sizer die for my 6.5 L, I am very impressed with the overall quality/finish of the die. Usually I will polish the bore of my new dies after I clean them but with the Whidden there was was no need for that, it was good to go right out of the box.

I too have had great luck with Whidden dies, great products and great customer service! I believe they recently started selling Neck Bushings as well, although they aren't listed on the website yet so you have to call to get them.

Zfastmalibu,I am sure John will fix it up for you.
I sent it back and they sent another out that was the same. Its a design issue. A carbide end mill fixed the issue for me.
