Whidden lock rings

This may be old, but I just saw them the other day, click adjustable 1 thou locking rings??!! So many good uses, but they are like $50 each!!

First thought that came to mind was holy crap they would be badass for a giraud trimmer shell holder..

This is what i thought you were talking about. No surprise they have something nice for other dies.

Ahh, haha. Yeah this new click adjustable ring has lots of benefits... id hate to buy one for each caliber though.. im curious as to say with the girard power trimmer, if itd be easy enough to switch out the ring and use on all the case holders. A few quick measurements and it seems like you could make for consistancy, and repeatability vs fittling with a permanent ring to set just right to the .001 mark...

I like mine.

I use a set of Redding Competition shell holders. They are set up at .002 per step which is more than enough for me. That way they let you keep the kiss of the shell holder to the die so you have constrained volume which gives you more uniform sizing with differing hardness of brass.

They aren't cheap either and are more limited in choice of shell holder sizes
