Which scope?

I don't know much about scopes. Iron sight shooter up to now. I'm going to be shooting a .22lr in an indoor league at 50ft. I would also like to use this rifle to practice outdoors in good weather out to 100yds or so. My question is which scope would be best suited for this? Weaver T- 24x 40mm, T-36x 40mm, or Sightron SII 36X 42mm?? Fine Cross Hair or 1/8 MOA Dot? Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Are you going to be standing, shooting from the kneeling position, sitting position, or prone.

Or, will you be sitting at a cement bench using a front and rear rest?

With a high power scope you better be doing the latter or you'll never stay on target.

You need to find out the minimum distance at which each of those scopes will focus clearly.

Fine cross hair or dot? Look through both, and then decide which one YOU prefer.
