which scope rings are preferred ?

I have the XTR 34mm rings on my 338, those along with a 20moa base gets me farther than I can reliably hit targets.

For most of my other guns SWFA rings are really hard to beat for the price.

Burris Signature zee with inserts for Tikka T3, are they available as a low ring-mount, if not what are the options.
LC
They are available in low form - it varies depending on the tube diameter (1" low rings are lower than 34 mm low rings. Hornady has that information on their web site.

How many of you guys use the Burris Signature zee with inserts ?
a) Your question is basically taking a poll. There are THOUSANDS of Forum members, the vast majority of whom will never see your post. Even so, what if the answer is "4 out of 18 responders use them"?

b) "Inserts" is redundant. Burris Signature rings feature inserts. They formerly called them 'Pos-Align' or something like that.

c) A rephrase would get you better intel in response. Such as "Are Burris Signature rings a good choice for my shooting setup consisting of blah, blah...?"

d) The insert feature is an excellent, nearly fool-proof method to avoid ring marks while gripping the scope tightly. I use them, along with at least 6 other makes/models on various rifles. In my opinion, the slotted screw that Burris provides with at least some of their Signature rings (to attach the bottom half to the mounting rail) is the weak link. Way to easy to bugger up the screw/action/scope if the screwdriver slips, and not as easy to torque properly. Maybe they finally fixed this and are shipping only TORX type screw heads. Otherwise, you can buy replacement screws for this purpose

e) Pro tip here, for no charge. If you're not using Burris Signature type rings, but hate ring marks on the scope tube, then put a strip of electrician's tape on the ring halves. (Sticky side on the ring, HA!) You're welcome. :)

I just recently tried my first set of American Rifle Company M10 rings. They align well and hold securely, which a lot of other rings do too, but what I love the most about these rings is the reticle does not cant as you tighten them... not even a little bit... They’re pricy but worth it. I’m going to continue to use them.

Burris Sig. See for years. I've used nothing else unless I have no choice. We used them on a Barrett 50 cal with a night force 12-42 br with no problems. For those guys that have had slippage problems, I'm sorry but you did something wrong.
