Which scope for 20 P ???

I am building a bolt 20 P with 22" pipe. It needs a scope.
I have narrowed it down to:
1. Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x
2. Athlon Ares BTR Gen II 4.5-27x

Please give me your opinion. I want to purchase by end of day tomorrow.

Given the range of the cartridge mentioned above I doubt if you'll use anything above 20x, you'll most likely be doing your work in the 12x to 16x range, also being in the 20x range or less of scopes gives you much better clarity, that being said, the best bang for the buck in what I've found is (in my opinion and I've had Sightron Slll Zeiss V4 Swarovski Z5 and NF shv) the Meopta Optica-6 3-18, keeps up with the above, clarity is amazing with a more attractive price point.

Is this going to be a bench gun or a carry gun? I have a PST II 5-25 moa on my 6 CM and love it for 1000yd plates.

Thanks. I checked them out. The problem is the available reticles. All have a large center dot or are just a cross hair. Since I do not do MIL, I am not sure which to pick.

That's one of the reasons why I've gone to the first focal plane scopes

Meopta is a honey. Great glass and not so heavy. I plan to put one on a rimfire . Hey - Bushnell seem to have some bargains with their Forge range run out too, the 27x is pretty sweet.
