Which reticle

I am planning on buying a new scope soon and am pretty sure I am going with a sightron, either the 8-32 or 10-50. I was wanting some opinions from you guys on which reticle would be best for me. At this moment this will be a long range vamint scope for prairie dogs, coyotes, crows, ect. Will be mounting this on a savage 22-250AI for now. However, I am really wanting to get my feet wet in fclass shooting so when that occurs this scope will be used. I know for strickly fclass I imagine either a fine CH or target dot would be optimal but how will that be for hunting(no hold off marks for wind). On the other hand, is a milhash or moa hash reticle going to hender me in the fclass game? Any advise would be great guys thanks in advance.

I have two SIII's.... one in 6-24 and one in 8-32. Both have the MOA-2 reticle. I hunt ground hogs here in WV and prairie dogs in Wyoming and I think it's a great reticle.

Don't have any experience shooting Fclass so I'm no help there.

I use a SIII 10-50 for F class. I have the moa reticle, and like it. I do use the hash marks for holding off at times. It doesn't feel to busy for my uses. For your uses, I'd suggest having the hash marks. I don't know of anyone that uses illumination for target shooting. You have to decide if you would ever really use it for varmints. I use a Vortex Viper PST 6-24 for mid range shooting. It comes with illumination, but I've never put a battery in it.

i have 5 sightron 8-32 and 4 have the lrtd 1/8 min dot, one has a thicker crosshair with a 1/4 min dot and i plan on selling it one day. i shoot targets and ghogs/crows and find the 1/8 min dot perfect. i don't like a lot of clutter when looking at a target and since i use a ballistic table for adjusting my elevation turret, i don't need holdover hash marks. to each his own.
