I need a shell holder for my 300 Norma Mag would like to use Redding Competition Shellholder Kit
I need the size

As the .308 Norma Magnum is within .001" rim diameter & rim thickne4ss of a .300 Winchester magnum, I daresay that that shellholder kit will get by.

Google both & check the Wikipedia dimensions for both.

Is he talking the new 300 Norma mag case or the old 308 Norma Magnum? I believe there is a big difference in the two. I believe one is a magnum bolt face while the other is a Lapua bolt face. MATT

Good call - and they do make a comp shellholder set for the #35.

I was thinking a wildcat always has a parent case, I was thinking the 416 Rigby had something to do with the 300 Norma and 338 Norma, and then there always has to be some type of 'neck down'.

I have one set of Redding Competition shell holders, it is the #6, I do not use them but I have them just in case. I paid $6.00 for the set. All of my life I have used feeler gages. From .000" to .010" I have 10 options and then there is 'to infinity' beyond .014". After that there is forming cases for short chambers.
