Which recoil pad for a Shehane ST1000?

Killshot

X's matter....but 10s win (but damn, Xs feel good)
Looking to replace the polished aluminum plate on the butt of my Shehane ST1000.

The plate is 4" tall and 1.75" wide in the center.

Which KickEez, Limbsaver or other would best fit this stock? Source or part number?

Looking to add maybe an inch to LOP and while a perfect fit would be nice, one that is slightly bigger than the plate dimensions should work just fine.

Thanks.

Bob

Pachmayr 325 Jumbo pad. should work..

Appreciate that but the Pachmayr 325 is over 5" and is also a grind-to-fit....

Looking for some Shehane owners. Emailed Bill.

Sounds like you might enjoy a Kick-Eez, 1 and 3/8th inch, PN 502-125-M-B. That's what I use on both my Shehanes and 7mm short magnums. (Brownells can give you some more options). I fit mine directly off wood though.

You shouldn't have to grind a Limbsaver pad; they have over a dozen different pads to chose from. Contact them and find out which pad fits your stock.

Pachmyar de-cel pads are what are on 3 ST1000F's that I had D & B Supply provide.
Same on the MBR Trackers that they provide.

Well then....... let's make this relevant shall we :)

I've ground every brand of recoil pad and even poured/formed and ground a few from scratch and I've recently been really enjoying Kick-Eeze because it's easy to grind/clean up any surface and BIGGEST of all, they've got no junk inside. You can grind the biggest one clear down to a nub if you want and never hit a plate. Secondly, their template prints are exquisitely perfect, if the template fits your stock profile the pad will too.... perfectly.

Yeah , but can you use it ti erase your pencil mistakes . Never mind , no one uses pencils (2h) or paper anymore .
