Which rear bag do you use?

I don't shoot f-class, but i do work our clubs matches. From what I typically see, you might consider that same bag with the heavy base for added height and a grab handle. Most shooters are using some sort of spacers to get their rear bag up high enough so they can get into the scope more comfortably. The grab handle makes it much easier when moving your equipment on and off the line.

I have a Protektor and an Edgewood original with the grab handle. While I like the large footprint of the Edgewood and the ease of moving with the grab handle I find it works better with a front rest for F-class, where I adjust elevation on the rest. I am going back to the smaller footprint Protektor for FPR (bipod class/mag fed rifles) because I find the Protektor works better, for me, to adjust elevation with a little 'rock' or squeeze of the ears. If you can try before you buy it would help as it boils down to shooting styles/personal preference. Or...do like me...and get both!

I like the Edgewood minigater. I have two - a short one (about 2.5") and a taller one (about 4"). The difference is noticeable, and can be a big deal depending on the target elevation of the range your'e shooting at. I sort of wish I had gotten the version with a handle, though, as it's pretty heavy and hard to grab with one hand.
