Which one?

If this has been asked before, my apologies for the repetition. I was looking at bench mounted priming tools, the RCBS and Forster specifically. Which one of these two would be preferable over the other, and why? If there is another made by someone else that I've omitted, that information will be appreciated. Thanks to all that reply.

I chose the RCBS for several reasons that may or may not be important to you.

The RCBS Primer Tubes are loaded the same way (ie stacked primer bottom to primer top) as for my progressive, so I could load tubes using my Hornady 1911 tube filler. The Forster Primer Seater Tube Filler wasn't available at the time, or I missed it.

The RCBS tube uses the familiar cotter pin to stop primers from falling out as you insert the tube into the tool. I suppose one could drill a small hole in the Forster tubes and use a paper clip to do the same thing. Or one could turn the Forster tool 90 degrees to keep the tube horizontal as you insert it . . . but I mount these tools via Inline Fabrication's Quick Mount System and that seemed needlessly cumbersome.

The RCBS rotates the primer tube away from the seating action as you seat a primer while the Forster's supply tube remains right above the primer being seated. While I've never had a tube full of primers go off, I felt this additional safety benefit was worthwhile.

I have no idea which if either tool seats primers better - I only bought one of them lol, the RCBS. And that one seats primers just fine AFAIC. You might watch some youtube videos to see both tools in operation and judge for yourself.

Click bait title: "which one". Which one what? It is sad that we must endure "click bait" most everywhere on the internet, really sad to routinely see it appearing on our shooting forums.

I didn't realize I was "click bating", is that something that will make me go blind or cause hair to grow in the palms of my hands? I saw the word "sad" appear twice in your reply, it wasn't my intent to create so much grief for you, I was merely trying to get some opinions about primer seating tools. I guess at this stage I need to offer my humblest apologies, and promise to do better in the next life.

I have both mounted on my bench. I like the RCBS a lot better. I don’t find the Forster as natural to use and it holds a lot less primers and they load sideways so they’re a pain to load. The only reason I keep it is so I don’t have to switch back and forth between large and small and I’m too lazy to trade it off.
