Which model

I posted a few weeks ago about which 22lr to purchase for free
hand practice and was given some great tips. I have now narrowed it down to following: Ruger 77/22...$590, the CZ 452Lux, $390, Savage MKII classic for $430, and a used Anshutz model 1415 - 1416 left hand with a 4x redfield, for $650. I gonna go look at them tomorrow. What are your thoughts on these choices? Secondly, is this a good deal on the Anshutz for $650.

For the money the Lux is hard to beat.....

That seems high for the Lux. I have found them 300 and under. For that money you could be close to CZ 452 Varmint. WE have 3 CZ and love them.. Hard to beat a CZ!!!!

If you can get a good 1415 = 1416 Anschutz for $600.00 or less, that would be my choice. Anschutz have be around for ever, have parts available if needed and are a very acurate rifle.

ms6852, i have a cz-452 varminter in 17hmr and a savage model 93 in 22 mag and though the accuracy of the 93 is very good the cz outperformes it by a good margin.the fit and finish of the cz are great.i can put up 1" shoot n see patches and put 5 shot groups on it at 100 yrds.
