My friend has one of these and he told me it was the first model that they made. His had a sn of 72 or74 something like that.

From what I understand it's a br model serial number is 119. My buddies was the same, br model and it was 73 or 74 somewhere in that area for serial number.

Makes since. BR 119 are the only marlins on it.

It is what they termed their BR action, I have BR118. Very nice, smooth action but the bolt shroud area could have been made a bit prettier. Mine is a 223 bf which is a little unusual.
