Which height rings for bat ds?

Wondering which height rings for bat ds for short range benchrest. They typical scope bell size. Lo, medium or high? By the way, considering one piece base/ring, don’t know if that makes a difference

I use the high one- piece base/rings from BAT for my DS. I shoot heads up most of the time and like the scope positioned high on the rifle.

I don't like the 1 piece setup. I remove my scope when I change barrels and you have to take everything apart with them. I can remove the scope and rings in about 1 minute and put them back on and never have to make an adjustment.

Extra tall, I don't want my cheek touching the stock.
The one piece rings from bat are great, don't know why you would need to take them off to switch barrels.
Most of the people I shoot BR with (including myself) are using the davidson style bases and Kelbly rings.

Many shooters who change barrels often like to take off the scope when doing so. Theory is to prevent "side shock" to scope. Thus, extra work with one piece rings.

One piece rings still have a ring cap to remove the scope - don't need to remove the rings altogether
