Which grease for barrel threads and shoulder into action on SR BR gun

Good thing I have some TW-25B. I was going to use C5A. I never heard that it wasn't a good anti-seize. I also have Valvoline Multi-Purpose red high temp grease too.

If I were going out to buy grease for use on firearms tenons, bolt shroud threads, scope base screws, and scope ring screws, I would purchase, extreme pressure, high temperature marine bearing grease. Grease can serve multi as multi purposes. Lubricity, water disponsation, and anti-corrosion. The Machinist Handbook, the Bible on threads says use grease on all threads, and torque them to spec. I have removed thousands of barrels. I have replaced thousands of barrels. Barrels that were installed with grease have been no problem to remove even 20 years later. Especially stainless barrels. Barrels with 2B threads don't need to be torqued higher than 70 foot pounds. 6-40, 6-48 threads should not be torqued more than 15 inch pounds. 8-32, 8-40 threads should not be torqued more than 20 inch pounds. Yes, these tiny screws should be greased and not loctited. Properly lubricated and torqued they will not loosen up. I have made a living removing gauled barrel tenons and scope base and ring screws. Do yourself a favor lubricate and torque threads in firearms.
