Which grease for barrel threads and shoulder into action on SR BR gun

I do try to research before asking, but got a little lost in all the posts. I read that the copper antiseize which is what I’ve used all these years is not what’s good. I did see a while back lucas red n tacky mentioned, but don’t know if they were specifically referencing barrel threads. So just wondering what’s best. Seems I ever so snug fit my barrel on my SR BR gun and when I try to take it on there it takes a lot of force to break off. Tightened while shooting I guess. In addition to the threads, is there something to put on the shoulder where it meets the action to avoid this?

Any EP grease works fine and for me much preferred over any anti seize. FWIW I use Mystic red since that’s what I have in the shop for vehicles. As an aside TW25B works great (mby better than the Mystic but not enough to go buy it if you don’t) if you happen to have some around.

I use AeroShell 64 which is a milspec (mil-G-21164D) grease. I use it on every barrel threads before installing in my action (I dont put grease on shoulder I keep shoulder and action face clean) and I put it on AR upper receiver threads..

One tube will last you a lifetime. Ive been using it for 20yr and have barely used my tube. I keep it in a airtight Tupperware and just dip a brush in each time I need some.

This is the ticket. I'd buy it from an Aviation supplier. I bought it twice from Amazon and it came in those bubble/bag/envelope things, smashed, full of grease.

I ended up asking a mechanic at the local airport/FBO sell me a tube.

Lithium grease. My Uncle used to tell me the old timers used bees wax.
I know we used to use bees wax on stubborn truck king pins......For what
it's worth, I've done barrels where I just dusted the threads with graphite.
Worked well.

I was using a Loctite Copper anti seize and a year or so went to Permatex Ultra Slick…it’s like the Lucas Red n Tacky. But I have to be very careful of using too much or my cerakote applicator complains. If he has his way, I’d put them together dry. I just can’t do it.
