Doubtful that will happen but I don't have an extensive amount of competition shooting under my belt. I will say that IME in another endeavor people are very congenial when they are kicking your tail at the game. When you get things figured out and turn the tables on them, many turn hostile. Jealousy is a horrible character attribute. Personally, I admire success achieved by knowledge and hard work. Success through cheating and dishonesty, not so much.I guess I will just have to show up at my first 300 yard FClass shoot at the club and win open and .308/.223, I am working towards that end
times and attitudes have changed. litigation is rampant. might be hard to find mentors willing to take on the liability of teaching such a dangerous pursuit, or any community center or other venue willing to host same.Would be nice if there was a local reloading 101 course that they could sign up for.
I was fortunate to attend a reloading course in high school when I was 12.
you did not see the targets I saw at the last club shoot at the end of June when I joined, they Looked like Erik Cortina's "I neck size only" T shirt.Doubtful that will happen but I don't have an extensive amount of competition shooting under my belt. this generation doest read,,they ask for loads, then complain when I say get a manual ...I thought this was a help group. IT IS READ A MANUAL. .. the best is how often do you use a trickleBack when I started reloading(late 70s), we had books. Since accurate rifles, varmint hunting and reloading was of great interest to me, I read every book that I could get my hands on. That information and some common sense went a long ways to making good ammo that was also safe. It’s just different in today’s world, people want instant answers when they open their computer or phone.
Rant over.
Did you get the eye relief figured out? This bunch will get you there on that also.tried to get a local gunsmith that my friend is always trying to get me to bring him work, blow me off cold when I asked for help setting up my eye relief.
