Which bullet for 7.5 twist 243AI

OK, ordered a 7.5 twist 243 26" barrel for a 243AI. This will be a long range pasture rat disposal unit. I have no idea of heavier bullet performance at 1000 & better. The last one (20+ years ago) was a 28" Hart 1-10 twist that was a hummer. Shot the 95 Berger VLD's extremely well beyond 1000. Managed to squander it trying to make the 1500 yd club, in the old Varmint Hunter magazine, shooting it in windy conditions.

My thoughts are to stay with around the 105-115gr range. But, want a bullet that will be fairly easy to tune in as well as perform on small furry targets.

As the barrel won't be here for a dozen weeks or so, looking to buy a good bullet to run with. Anybody out there already blazed this trail?

I have a 6 dasher barrel inbound that should be arriving in a week or two. I'm going to try 105 rdf's. pretty mixed reviews on them. If they don't perform I'll go to berger 105s. I've shot 130gr rdf's in my 260 and they were super easy to get shooting.
I have an 8lb jug of sta-ball 6.5 to try first for powder since varget is so scarce. Hopefully it works out. I have plenty of h4350 as well, but I've heard you need a drop tube to get enough in the case.

Although I like Noslers as a hunting bullet. A buddy of mine warned me against them. Said most shot well, but the RDF stood for Random D^** Fliers. He'd get a few really good groups, then an unexplained sputnik would appear. He's had good luck with Barts & Vapor Trails out of his Dasher. I had my Dasher designed around the 87 Vmax & a 1-10 twist Hart. It shoots those reeeaaaly well, but only out to 7-800. Then the speed doesn't make up for a .400 BC in the ND wind.

I’m going through the same thought process for a custom barreled 240 Wby that is in the works. Looking for a decent BC and a bullet that will expand. I’m going to try the 105 Berger hunting VLDs, I have a 7.5 twist Krieger.

I have had bullet trouble in a 7twist 243. I found the rpm's the bullet was spinning were almost 350k! The needed twist they state is always based to achieve a certain rpm in a certain performance window.
RPM= velocity x 720 / twist
6 dasher 7 twist 2900fps = 298k rpm
243ai 7 twist 3300fps= 339k rpm
243ai 8 twist= 297k rpm
Having given all that unwanted info I had trouible with nosler rdf shot great at 100yd fell apart out far. But only about 5% of them 10, 10 X , 10, miss! WTH!

i shoot with a few guys that shoot the 6mm 55 balistic tips at 4000 and we have never had one go poof.. but i have personally had several 105s blow up. bergers mostly. some custom 105 s have also blew. a 68 ultra will hold up. all of us went to a 108. a 108 berger is your huckleberry.

If i want to group tight a 105 Berger Hybrid or 105L Lapua.

Banging steel at to 1500 yards, a 112 Barnes Match, I do sort these bullets though.

The 95 gr. Berger 107gr. Sierra & 108 gr. Berger have given me best accuracy from my 243 AI 1 - 7.5 Tw.

I've got a 6SLR build almost ready to go. Have read where the 108 Berger is an easy bullet to get to shoot. Gonna give it a try first. Please keep us posted on your journey!
