which bullet for 10 twist 6br??

Hi guys. I have a new 6br pac-nor 1-10 twist on the way. I have a good stock pile of v-max and sierra match king bullets to try. What do you recommend for a custom match bullet ie; berger, fowler, bib gentry?? Just for paper punching mainly 100-300 yds but we have a 500 yd range in the works. thanks for any help you can give. dcl

I shot the Berger 80 "varmint" and Vmax 75 from my PacNor 8-twist and the Bergers shot into tiny bugholes at 100 yards. The Berger was noticeably more accurate than the Vmax.

Other good choices: BIB 95, Lapua 77, Fowler 80.

For plinking the heavy Sierra BlitzKings and Hornady V Max's work realy well but for serious 600 yard shooting the 95gr BIB flat base is supposed to be one of the best also try some Berger Flat based and boat tail bullets around 90gr for a 10 twist BR

Well guys as usual, thanks for the help and the bergers are on the way. gunamonth I promise not to order any BIBs' if you would sell me 20 of yours when you get them. I'd love to try them but the minimum order is going to break my shooting budget for awhile. I can't wait to get to the range. thanks again. dcl
